GRO, a full-service digital marketing and creative agency with offices in Detroit, Nashville, and Tuscaloosa, is seeking a Jr. Account Manager to join our Nashville team.
The Jr. Account Manager will oversee day-to-day communications and project management for low to mid-tier accounts, serving as the main point of contact for these clients. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Jr. Account Manager with an eagerness to learn. In this role, you will support the account management team in maintaining client relationships and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for digital marketing and client service.
This is NOT a sales based role. This is a post-sale, client facing position with a strong focus on client success.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in managing client accounts by serving as a point of contact for clients and internal teams.
- Help coordinate and track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct client meetings and prepare reports on campaign performance and insights. This includes but is not limited to, internal and external client kickoff calls, monthly reporting, bi-weekly check ins, campaign success check ins.
- Participate in discussions to understand the client’s market. Adapt strategies and budgets to best fit the current climate of the market and provide unique solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies tailored to client goals.
- Work closely with assigned Digital Marketing Specialist(s) to ensure optimal performance of campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams to ensure client expectations are aligned with current client promotions.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide informed recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client accounts and activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1 + years of account management or relevant experience in digital marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, programmatic).
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and tactics, including SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.
- Leverage available resources to pursue solutions to problems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Previous internship or experience in account management or client service is a plus.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a typical office environment and remotely. Employees are expected to be in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our office is located at 5th and Union, just three blocks from Broadway. Parking assistance is offered.
